What are the delivery times and shipping costs?

Trickie is a Dutch company, when your Trickie is in stock, it will be shipped within 48 hours with PostNL. If it takes longer, you will receive a message from us. This way you can get your Trickie home quickly.

For shirt orders under €50 you pay €3.95 shipping costs and for cooling scarf orders under €20 you pay €2.95 shipping costs within the Netherlands. For orders above €50 or resp. We will cover the costs of €20, so you will not pay anything for shipping.

What payment methods are there?

You can pay for your Trickie via Ideal, Apple Pay or credit card. We support the most commonly used banks.

I live abroad, can I order Trickie?

Of course! We would be happy to send Trickie to you. We calculate shipping costs depending on the size of your order and the country of destination. These will be calculated at check-out.

Is Trickie vegan?

Yes, Trickie is vegan and does not contain any materials involving animals.

Do I have a warranty on Trickie?

Yes, you can expect us to deliver a good product to you. Read all about our warranty scheme in our general terms and conditions .

How do returns work?

It is of course possible that you have ordered the wrong size, or that you have changed your mind. In that case you can return Trickie.

Return conditions:

  • You have 30 days after purchasing Trickie to register your return with us.
  • You then have 14 days to return your Trickie.

Register a return
To return Trickie, first register the return by sending an email to info@trickie.nl or use the contact form on our contact page . Please include your original order number and the reason for return.

If you make use of our returns policy according to the right of withdrawal, the product must be returned with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging.

Send Trickie back
For returns you can use the same packaging as your Trickie
received. The costs of returning the package are at your own expense and depend on the postal service you use.

If you would like to receive a different size from Trickie, you can place a new order in our store. You can return the Trickie in the wrong size to us.

What is the legal right of withdrawal?

As a consumer you have a so-called right of withdrawal .

This means that you can cancel the order up to 14 days after receipt.
After cancellation you have another 14 days to return Trickie to us

Cooling scarf

How can I store the Trickie?

After use, it is better not to put the cooling scarf in an airtight bag (for a long time) because then there is a chance of mold. The supplied packaging is intended to store the scarf during the winter months when it has already lost all its moisture.

Depending on the outside temperature, it will take 2 days to a few weeks for Trickie to lose all its moisture. Keep the scarf in a ventilated environment during this period.

In addition, it is wise not to store Trickie on moisture-sensitive materials such as untreated wood.

What to do if Trickie no longer feels cool?

It may be that after you have worn Trickie for some time, you experience the cooling effect less.

This is because your skin is used to the temperature of the scarf. Compare it to entering a cold sea in the summer, when you stand in the same water for a longer period of time you will eventually experience the water temperature as less cold.

The cooling effect is therefore not gone, but you experience it less. The best thing you can do to increase the cooling sensation is to turn the scarf over, stop using the scarf for a while or place the scarf in the refrigerator for a short time or in the freezer for a maximum of 20 minutes for extra cooling.

Can I activate the Trickie cooling scarf in any type of water?

No, Trickie is only suitable for activation in clean tap water. Placing the scarf in seawater or chlorinated water (such as a swimming pool) can damage the scarf so much that it can no longer be used.

How does a cooling scarf work?

Before putting on the scarf, activate the cooling elements by placing the scarf in cold water. The Trickie® cooling scarf expands because the innovative cooling elements absorb the water. After 30 minutes, the scarf is ready for use and you can wear it around your neck.

This hydrated cooling scarf absorbs body heat through the skin surface and then releases the heat as moisture that slowly evaporates from the scarf. By cooling the many blood vessels in your neck, your entire body will experience the refreshing effect. Want an extra cooling effect?

Then place Trickie® in the fridge or freezer before use. Thanks to the durable design, you can reactivate the scarf with water and use it for years.

After how long should I put Trickie back in cold water?

Trickie is made to retain moisture for a long time, you will be able to use a cooling effect for at least 20 hours. And it will be able to take a long time for Trickie to lose all its moisture.

The cooling effect will decrease depending on the weather conditions. You can therefore always reactivate Trickie in cold water or put it in the refrigerator.

On hot days we recommend doing this every two hours for best results.

Can I wash Trickie?

Yes, just by hand. Using regular detergent for hand washing is no problem.

Can Trickie go in the dryer?

No, Trickie is not suitable for putting in the dryer. The cooling elements are designed to retain moisture.

Can I iron Trickie?

No, Trickie is not suitable for ironing.

What material is Trickie made of?

The Trickie® cooling scarf has emerged from a long test phase and the scarf has been extensively tested by various authorities in the field of safety & cooling capacity.

The scarf is made from, among other things:

Specially developed and very fine antibacterial and Super
Absorbent Polymer (SAP)

Water-resistant organic cotton that complies with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification, the international cotton fabric certification.

I sweat quite a lot, could this affect the operation?

Yes, the Trickie scarf is designed to absorb and retain moisture. If you sweat a lot around the neck, the scarf will partially absorb the warm body moisture, making the scarf warmer.

In this case, it is best to reactivate the scarf several times a day in cold water and try to keep your neck as dry as possible.

What sizes is Trickie available in?

The Trickie ® cooling scarf is available in one size, namely 86 cm x 5 cm.

Can I also wear Trickie without a logo?

Trickie is always supplied with a logo. If you would like to wear the scarf without a logo, you can do so by turning the scarf over so that the logo is on the inside. If you want to use Trickie for business purposes, please inquire about options via info@trickie.nl

I want to use Trickie for business purposes, is that possible?

How does Trickie keep the sweat at bay?

Trickie keeps sweat at bay thanks to its unique combination of materials
has been made. Trickie consists largely of Lenzing premium modal . This substance has valuable antimicrobial properties and water retention capacity. This means that it is effective against bacteria and retains water.

Natural odor killer
So-called silver ions are fused in the modal substance. The silver ions prevent the spread of bacteria by disrupting their mode of movement. The bacteria responsible for the sweaty odor under your armpits cannot multiply in this way, which prevents the sweaty smell.

The silky soft and supple feel of Trickie is due to the combination of pre-washed combed cotton and spandex (also called elastane). The unique fabric combination ensures that Trickie feels high-quality and retains its beautiful fit.

Can I iron Trickie?

Yes, Trickie can be ironed. Do this at a low temperature.

A small crease is normal
Trickie is largely made of Modal . Modal has a natural tendency to wrinkle slightly. The fact that the shirt will remain prone to creases even after ironing is just part of Trickie.

Which size suits me?

Trickie has a fairly general European size. This means that it is best to order the size that you have most in your wardrobe. Below is an indication of men's height with matching size.

How can I wash Trickie with care?

Inside out
Trickie prefers to be washed inside out in the washing machine. This allows the washing machine to intensively clean the sweat protection areas of the undershirt.

Standard 30 to 40 degrees
You can wash at a higher temperature. For regular washing, we recommend washing between 30 and 40 degrees as standard.

Occasionally 60 degrees with pre-treatment if necessary
Because over time the double-stitched armpit pads on the inside can turn yellow, we recommend that you occasionally wash the shirt at a higher temperature (60 degrees). It may help to soak the stains in advance with stain remover or a soda mixture. Do not use bleach or vinegar on Trickie. Don't worry, if the armpit pads are a little discolored, it doesn't mean that Trickie can no longer do her job. You remain equally well protected against sweat spots.

Do not steam
 Trickie is not suitable for dry cleaning.

Can Trickie go in the dryer?

Yes! Trickie can be put in the dryer, but make sure the dryer dries on a low setting.

It's even better to let Trickie air dry, on the clothes rack or maybe even outside in the sun. This method of drying is also more sustainable and requires less energy.

What materials is Trickie made of?

The Trickie® undershirt contains a unique combination of fabrics and consists of:

47.5% Lenzing Modal
47.5% Cotton
5% Spandex

In Trickie the useful properties of Modal and Spandex are combined to ensure stretchability. The addition of cotton ensures that Trickie feels soft and pleasant. Silver ions in the armpit pads ensure that sweat doesn't stand a chance.

Why does my Trickie say Frenkie?

Frenkie is the special first edition of Trickie. It is therefore possible that you come across the name Frenkie on Trickie packaging materials. Don't worry, the shirts with Frenkie on them also meet the special anti-sweat spot Trick ;-).
